Slab Base weld nuts may be used as an economical insert molded into plastic. They are also commonly used to provide a threaded insert in metalworking and tubing applications. The long barrel permits deep thread engagement. SRI also offers slab base weld nuts with 1/8" rivet holes for easy riveted installation. Aside from what is shown in the following chart, weld nuts are also available in many more sizes and various styles including: square style, round style, round style with bosses for spot welding, slab style with bosses for spot welding, slab style with extra-long flanges and slab style with curved flanges (up or down).
