These belts are recognized by their blue or green color. Zirconia/Alumina belts are made of a rugged synthetic abrasive that is best suited for stock removal applications. The heavy duty structure requires heavier pressure to break down the self sharpening grains. This material is ideal for heavy grinding on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This abrasive can last up to 5 times longer than aluminum oxide on tough applications.
