Details

A six sided internally threaded fastener made from steel. Material is consistent with AISI 1021 - 1045 or equivalent steel that conforms to the following: Carbon - 55% minimum, Magnesium - 30% minimum, Sulfur - .05% maximum. Core Hardness on sizes 1/4 - 5/8 at Rockwell C24-32, size 3/4 at Rockwell C26-34. In addition to the items listed in the chart below, SRI also offers smaller Machine Screw Nuts manufactured to a Grade 2 standard. These include; #4, #6, #8 and #10 sizes. Larger sizes above and beyond 3/4" are also available upon request.
