Camloc 1/4-Turn Studs: 2600/2700 Series
2600/2700 Series 1/4-turn Camloc fasteners are made of Cad Plated Steel and are available in three drive types: Slotted ( 2600), Phillips (26S8) & Winged ( -#W). The 2600 series (non-winged) studs have a protruding head (.205" when locked). The 2700 Series studs are Flush. Shear & Tensile Strength is 200 lbs. The stud part number varies with the receptacle being used. It is necessary to determine which receptacle that is going to be used, prior to selecting the studs. There is a stud selection table located in the PDF file below (Page A-23). Total material thickness will need to be determined in order to select the right stud number (dash number). Total material thickness consists of the thickness of all materials to be fastened. This must include the thickness of the material to which the stud assembly is attached, the material to which the receptacle is attached plus gaskets (if used) and allowance for paint or other protective finishes. If the total thickness is near the upper limit of the stud grip range, the next longer stud should be used. This will still maintain positive locking of the fastener under vibration.
